During his Computer Science studies, Tilman Beck began conducting research on text mining and information retrieval. He later pursued a PhD in Natural Language Processing at the Technical University of Darmstadt under the supervision of Prof. Iryna Gurevych, focusing on opinion mining, large language models, and efficient NLP. Currently, he is working on clinical NLP and multi-modal learning.
