ICU Cockpit Team Joins AI+X Summit for the First Time 🎉
We are proud to announce that, for the first time, the ICU Cockpit team participated in the AI+X Summit, organized by the ETH AI Center. The event, held in Zurich on October 2, 2025, is one of Switzerland’s largest AI gatherings and brings together researchers, industry experts, clinicians, policymakers, and AI enthusiasts to explore how artificial intelligence intersects with diverse domains.
During the summit, we showcased our ICU Cockpit infrastructure and presented several of our ongoing research projects. Central to our presence was a talk by Prof. MD. Emanuela Keller in the special AI + Healthcare & Medicine track, entitled “ICU-Cockpit: Real-time decision support for intensive care”.

In her talk, Emanuela highlighted the current challenges faced by intensive care personnel and presented how engineers and clinicians can collaborate to build systems that assist in clinical decision-making. She discussed how high-resolution patient monitoring data, integrated analyses, and interactive user interfaces can help bridge the gap between complex data streams and actionable insights. The presentation sparked a lively Q&A session, with many thoughtful questions from attendees.
We look forward to continuing to engage in such forums and to push forward innovations in AI-assisted intensive care.
